Position Description

Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) is seeking a strategic, experienced, and system-oriented nurse leader, who will bring a vision of integrated pediatric behavioral health and innovative care models to support children and families in a critical and challenging national emergency.

 

The Senior Director, Behavioral Health Nursing Patient Care Operations will be an exceptional operational leader and strategist who can navigate a complex environment both internally and externally. S/he will guide the evolution of integrated behavioral health operations with leaders in psychiatry, social work, community agencies, advocacy groups, and state policymakers to explore and create new paradigms for the behavioral health care continuum.

The ideal candidate will have ten (10+) years of RN experience with at least 8 years of progressive management/leadership experience within a nurse leadership role. S/he should also have current state licensure and registration by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing or be eligible to attain licensure and registration prior to employment.
