**Up to 25K Sign-on bonus!! (12 Hours - Multiple Hours and Shifts Available)**

This position is available for 24 and 36 hours per week.

United Health Services, the largest and most comprehensive provider of healthcare services in upstate New York's Southern Tier, is hiring a Staff Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit to join our team at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. The CVICU provides expert care to critically ill patients. Our team of agile nurses are able to work hand in hand with physicians to come up with the best plan of care for the patient.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Monitoring vitals and progress of patients 
  • Rapidly responding when necessary 
  • Collaborating with team of physicians to devise best plan of care for patient 
  • Administering medications and interventions  

Qualifications: 

  • A valid RN license  
  • 1+ year Med Surg experience 
  • ACLS preferred  
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team 
  • Critical Thinking skills

  • Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients.
  • Rooms are air conditioned and heated.
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.
  • Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
  • PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by Infection Control policies
