Position Description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced RN to join our Inpatient Psychiatry Unit At Waltham, a 12-bed, secure inpatient psychiatric unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing nursing care to patients and families in our
  • Maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.
  • Providing education to patients and families.
  • Facilitating group therapies.
  • Overseeing behavioral tech and counselor staff.
  • 32 hours, day/evening rotating, occasional nights, every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Education

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in nursing

Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting. Inpatient and pediatric RN experience preferred.
  • Charge nurse experience preferred.

Licensure/Certifications

  • Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN)

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
