Intensive Care Nurse New

Pride Health is hiring a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU to support our client’s medical facility in Newport, RI. This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Position: RN ICU

Location: Newport, RI

Schedule: 36 hours/week, 13-week contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for assigned patients, including medication administration, assessments, and assisting with procedures.
• Document patient responses and changes in treatment.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge procedures.
• Delegate tasks to support staff and collaborate with physicians.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2 year of nursing experience.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Certifications:

• RN License (RI or multistate).
• BLS & ACLS (AHA).

Education:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required).
• BSN (preferred).
