Registered Nurse (RN) Surgical ICU 36 Hours Nights

Sign-on Bonus of $5,000.00 available for experienced RN's (1 + years of experience required) paid out in 3 payments.

Job Description:

The Surgical Intensive Care Unit is a 24-bed high acuity unit with clinical specialties in General Surgery, Trauma, Transplant, and Cardiothoracic Surgery. As a level one trauma center, we work closely with our multidisciplinary teams to provide high quality, patient centered care. In addition, this unit sees a wide variety of acutely ill patients who may require additional acute therapies. Our nurses are experts in caring for these patient populations and are continuously enhancing their knowledge to ensure we are up to date with the latest practices and technologies. We, as members of this team, are committed to the delivery of safe, high-quality care to our patients and their families.

The Surgical Intensive Care Unit offers a professional pathway for those nurses looking to build their resume and progress in their career.

Lahey Hospital & Medical Center utilizes EPIC for computerized charting and medication administration. Computerized self-scheduling is available along with every third weekend rotation.
