NERBNA 30th Annual Excellence in Nursing Award Celebration

The New England Regional Black Nurses Association (NERBNA) will host the 30th Annual Excellence in Nursing Award Celebration on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Boston Copley Marriott Hotel.

NERBNA is pleased to announce that this event will include a VIP Reception and Dinner honoring outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the nursing profession during the 30th Annual Excellence in Nursing Award Ceremony.

This is a unique opportunity for your organization to advertise your well wishes by taking a page in the Program Book, sponsoring an event or reserving a corporate table(s). You also have the opportunity to nominate black nurses from your organization who demonstrate excellence in nursing or nurses who promote diversity and inclusion within their organization or community. Nurses will be recognized at the awards ceremony for demonstrated excellence in four different nursing categories: Research, Education/Teaching, Leadership and Practice. 

The New England Regional Black Nurses Association, Inc. is a chapter of the National Black Nurses Association, Inc. and is part of a national effort to unify, educate and recruit and retain African American nurses into the profession. NERBNA was founded in 1972 and incorporated in 1973 in Boston, Massachusetts. NERBNA has been active in the community for over 45 years offering health screenings, flu vaccinations, mentorship, scholarships, and educational conferences and networking opportunities to nurses and nursing students in the New England area.

We are seeking support from hospitals, health centers, schools, other health care institutions and companies in the New England area. Ads for the Program Book and Sponsorship deadline is December 15, 2017. The deadline for table reservations and purchasing tickets is January 2, 2018. The Excellence in Nursing application is due no later than November 15, 2017.
